BEFORE YOU CONNECT
Check the limits.
Anonymous server discovery is checked. A current installation and widget test in both hosts is not recorded for this release.
- There's no account connection. It reads CSV or Excel exports and pasted rows, not PDF statements or screenshots.
- No currency conversion. Each currency is totaled on its own.
- The 1099-K view is for information. Your form can differ.
- The export formats come from the published column layouts, not from real exports.

Summarize payouts by month
summarize_payoutsUse this when the user attaches or pastes a Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Etsy, Gumroad or Square transaction, balance or payout export and wants a Stripe monthly report, PayPal transaction history to Excel, a monthly income summary for bookkeeping or taxes, or what their 1099-K should show. Detects the export type from the headers and returns, per month and per currency: gross sales, refunds, chargebacks, fees, other adjustments, net and payouts, added in the smallest currency unit; a check of the totals against the export's Net column with any residual; a 1099-K view (gross payments per platform per year); an Excel workbook (Months, cleaned Transactions, 1099-K view) and a PDF summary. Several exports can be combined. Does not connect to accounts, read PDF statements or screenshots, convert currencies, or give tax advice.
Calculate monthly totals
calculate_monthly_totalsUse this when the user wants quick monthly sales totals from a Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, Etsy, Gumroad or Square export or pasted rows ("how much did I make each month", "monthly totals from my PayPal history") and does not need files. Returns the same month table as summarize_payouts (gross sales, refunds, chargebacks, fees, net, payouts per currency, the Net-column check and the 1099-K view) without the Excel and PDF downloads. Use summarize_payouts when the user wants a spreadsheet or PDF. Does not connect to accounts, convert currencies, or give tax advice.
